This is a very special cover of Holiday Joy Magazine. As the first issue ever, it seemed appropriate to select one of my favorite  accessories. The Department 56 "Phantom of the Organ" Item #56.53126. Introduced in 2003 and retired three years later in 2006. The eyes in the skull light up and the Phantom rocks back and forth as he plays. This piece is loaded with the spirit of the season. Uh? Well? Loaded with spirits for sure! Scary notes floating from the classic pipe organ fill the air with all things haunted! The Phantom sits at his keyboard, deep in thought about the pain he has been doomed to live with. A pain so deep it has blackened his soul. The kind of pain that can only be caused by a broken heart. It is this pain that stirs his most inner emotions and translates into passion. Dark as it is, his music is his passion. Releasing his agony into the universe as he cries for help note by note. He is calling to his lost love through the dark and scary sounds of Halloween.
