Holiday Joy Magazine is named after the grandmother of my children. My mom like most grandmothers was an incredible person who lived for her grandchildren. Grandma Joy knew that fun is a powerful tool for parents to hold the attention of children. She is gone now but was and still is an enormous influence on our family. As the family matriarch she lead us with strength, wisdom and love. She's the person that lead my children and I to village collecting. Building a holiday village has become a tradition my kids and I look forward to every year. It helped reinforce family ties by giving us one more thing to do together. We at Holiday Joy Magazine wish to keep the spirit of Grandma Joy and other grandmothers like her alive by sharing our love for village collecting with you! |
